**Intro:** Sint Maarten is sinds 2011 geassocieerd lid van UNESCO en heeft een eigen UNESCO Commissie.

De Commissie draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van programma's ter ondersteuning van de UNESCO-mandaatgebieden.
